I told you so! For the left leaning folks of the world let yesterday's events sink in a little bit. For those of you who said the Iraqis don't want a democracy and that we are forcing freedom on them, I say to you "NUTS". Yesterday the polling stations were held open an extra hour because the turn out was so great. I am so excited to see these folks taking a stand for their country more and more. The courage these folks had to go out and vote during a war in their country is awesome. Not only that they had to walk to the polling stations. How many of us would walk to the polling station. The great people of Ohio complained for having to stand for a couple of hours. I will leave you with this quote...

Hillary Clinton wasted 9-11 cash on "PORK" projects! Some on the list of to do items had nothing to do with 9-11 and were actually underfunded projects that were started before 9-11. Surprised? I didn't think so.

The famous JOE WILSON, husband of the covert CIA agent has spoken, AGAIN! Yet all the media attention he had about his voyage to Niger and his report back why didn't the liberal media report this quote more. ""There was a lot of reason to be concerned about weapons of mass destruction in the hands of Saddam Hussein," he told WABC Radio's Mark Simone. "I always thought that he probably had chemical and biological weapons and biological precursors as well". Interesting that he is being and has tried to be the beacon behind the "Bush Lied" democrats.

I have something for conservatives and liberals alike. I read a story that there is some talk about someone to succeed Secretary Defense Rumsfeld. I was a bit suprised and would like to hear your comments on this as well. Senator Joseph Lieberman? I am going to be doing some digging on this man but as of late he has stood in stark contrast to his party and their anti-American rhetoric. My "Buddy"!

I have been wanting a dog for so long and he is finally here. His name is Buddy and he is only 2.5 months old. I wanted to share a poem by Jimmy Stewart that captures the heart of caring for a dog. Now I know it is sad but the very heart of it is really cool on how he cares for the dog named "BO".

My Dog, Named Bo.
He came to me when I would call, unless I had a tennis ball -or he felt like it.
But mostly--he didn't come at all.
When he was young, he never learned, to heel, or sit or stay, he did things his way.
Discipline was not his bag, but when you were with him, things sure didn't drag.
He'd dig up a rose bush just to spite me, and when I'd grab 'im he'd turn and bite me.
He bit lots of folks from day to day, the deliv'ry boy was his favorite prey.
The gas man wouldn't read our meter, he said we owned a real man-eater.
He set he house on fire, but the story's long to tell. Suffice to say that he survived, and, the house survived as well.
And on evening walks (and Gloria took him), he was always first out the door. The old one and I, brought up the rear because our bones were sore.
And he'd charge up the street with Mom hangin' on, what a beautiful pair they were.
And if it was still light, and the tourists were out, they created a bit of a stir!
But every once in awhile he'd stop in his tracks and with a frown on his face, look around.
It was just t'make sure, that the old one was there, to follow him where he was bound.
We're early-to-bedders in our house I guess I'm the first to retire, and as I'd leave the room, he'd look at me and get up from his place by the fire.
He knew where the tennis balls were, upstairs and I'd give 'im one for awhile and he'd push it under the bed with his nose and I'd dig it out with a smile.
But before very long, he'd tire of the ball and he'd be asleep in his corner in no time at all, and there where nights when I'd feel him climb up on our bed and lie between us, and I'd pat his head;
and there were nights when I'd feel this stare, and I'd wake up and he'd be sitting there and I'd reach out to stroke his hair;
and sometimes I'd feel him sigh, and I think I know the reason why.
He'd wake up at night, and he would have his fear of the dark, of life, of lot's of things, and he'd be glad to have me near.
And now he's dead.
And there are nights when I think I feel him climb up on our bed, and lie between us, and I pat his head;
and there are nights when I think I feel that stare, and I reach out my hand to stroke his hair, and he's not there.
Oh, how I wish that wasn't so, I'll always love a dog named Bo.

That pretty much sums up my feelings about the politics as of right now. You have the democrats crying about the war in Iraq. How we need to pull out now, yet when put to a vote all but three said that it is wrong to withdraw our troops. The republicans won't stand up to the democrats on drilling for oil. All the while letting the democrats scream about getting away from foriegn dependency on it. In all this the Senator Specter has time to make official comments on the NFL. The senator says that the Eagles shouldn't keep Mr. Owens from playing. This is all getting a bit tiresome for a guy who watches this constantly. That is probably why my posts have been a little more infrequent due to the my boredom. That and the fact my wife and I are expecting another little one so my time is more and more tied up with helping her. As always keep it right and well thats all folks!

That's what the republicans said to the democrats last week. With the building of political attacks on the war in Iraq the republicans said they had enough. A firestorm that has been going on for sometime. With democrats wanting the rest of us to forget what they said in public about Saddam and WMD's. They try to make a plea to the public that President Bush lied. That the war is being fought on false terms. The same terms they used to authorize. Now don't forget we have had at least two investigations into the tampering with evidence and both time President Bush has been cleared of any wrong doing. I have been very disappointed with republicans on some things one being not bringing their side of the story out more forcefully earlier. Instead of letting democrats run around and lie about the WMD's and the actual progress of Iraq, they should have been more on the offense. I know they are doing it now but they should have been doing it sometime ago. So last week with all the talk of "IS IT TIME TO PULL OUT". Republicans called it to a vote and showed the world were not going anywhere with a 403-3 vote. Only Reps. Cynthia McKinney, Jose Serano and Robert Wexler being the only three to actually support surrender. So democrats now it is time for an actual debate on how to WIN not on how to RUN. If you don't like the strategy of Iraq fine but stop trying to rewrite history. The American people know why we are there, we know President Bush didn't lie, we know Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11 but did have dealings with Bin Laden and we know you are playing a political chess game with our soldiers lives. Time is up for you democrats and some of you republicans, elections will be here and I will remember what you said and WHY you said as will the rest of THE PATRIOTS of these United States of America! As always keep it right and just a note for you who would like to cut and run...

Yet Another Leak!?!

I am waiting for democrats to be outraged at the leaking of CIA prisons. With their new found love for the CIA I am surprised to see that democrats are not jumping on this. Ok, I'm not surprised yet it is funny. The big "COVERT" CIA agent was leaked. Mrs. Plame wasn't even covert, so no crime could have been committed in regards to "leaking" her name. Yet where are these democrats now that something truly secret has been leaked. Where are they now, when actual classified information has been leaked. Of course they are still there complaining that they were manipulated into voting for a war with false intelligence. They didn't care about Mrs. Plame or her husband. I think the only thing they care about is getting President Bush and they didn't even do that with the so called leak. Democrats will use anything right now to bring the president down even if it means ignoring real issues and calling stupid special closed sessions of congress. Their only platform is "Bush Lied", yet three investigations later, still want more investigations (which by the way all three said President Bush didn't lie, just bad intel). Using Mr. Libby and the "leak" as a catipult to put yet again more focus on an issue that should be settled. Then focusing on more important leaks like the CIA leak. As always keep it right!

I am always astounded by the readiness of Americans to give up their rights. It is amazing on how we fight for only the ones that effect us yet the ones that only effect our neighbor mean nothing to us. This past week San Francisco has passed a ban on handgun; ownership, sales and manufacturing of. Apparently the majority of San Francisco don't respect the rights of others. Beyond that I am ashamed that the politicians of that city didn't use Washington D.C. as a blueprint of how disastrous a decision this is and will be. Since they couldn't I will to give you some kind of idea of what the possibilities for San Francisco in the future.

-1976-2001 Washington D.C. crime rate rose 72%, while the national rate fell 36%
-The Department of Justice found that guns accounted for 80 percent of Washington DC.Âs homicides between 1985 and 1994
-Washington D.C. had a homicide rate of 44.2 per 100,000 in 2003, while San Francisco had a homicide rate of 8.9 per 100,000 in 2003. D.C. had more than double the overall violent crime rate when compared to San Francisco in 2003.

Just a few facts about the what the future holds for San Francisco. It reminds me of a story I read a few days ago. Apparently, in high schools there is a problem with students having sex IN the school. So the solution to the problem, "BAN SEX IN SCHOOL". Wow, what a revelation, I bet that is sure to stop the young lovers in their tracks. Now back to D.C., the good news is that it only took D.C. a little over two decades before they are starting to repeal that law. I guess the reputation of being "Murder Capital" is getting to the folks. Maybe it is common sense that is prevailing, that laws only effect those who actually adhere to them. Immigration Crackdown Feared!?!

Only by our former President Clinton. Irony is the only word to describe this. Irony, because it was his relaxing of the immigration laws that allowed people like Atta to enter our country. The former president worries "...that one of the consequences of our tightness on immigration and visas as a result of 9/11 and terror, has led to a drop in many places of the number of foreign students coming to the United States to study and be graduate students". Yeah, I am sure there are hundreds of foriegners dying to graduate from flight school (pun intended). Clinton would say we are too tough on the visa's since 9-11. He says we are losing "brains". Oh the irony! As always keep it right and if at first you don't succeed...blame it in the government, it's worked so far in France!

Have you ever been accused of something? Been told you did something and you really didn't? Have someone pass judgement on you without even knowing the whole story? Well I believe this is the case with Mr. Libby. I have been listening to CSPAN lately and have had the "honor" of listening to congress discuss the issue's at hand. The democrats have already accused, charged and are ready to throw Mr. Libby in with Guantanamo Bay prisoners to be tortured for more information. All they keep saying is, "Mr. Libby's lies are serious"! Assuming he did lie, instead of being innocent until proven guilty. The only reason they want this, which I believe isn't the whole package they wanted, is to make a political move to bring up the war in Iraq. Yet in their zeal to do this they fail to remember their part in the ordeal. I guess the left believes you are guilty until proven innocent if you are a republican. I'm not saying that Mr. Libby didn't do it. I'm just saying that the left should take it easy on finding a man guilty without even letting him go to trial. Which I also do think is stupid is the very fact of the charge. You have a prosecutor that had two years to find out a case of leaking a CIA's name. Which only to find out the very leaking wasn't a crime. Interesting that he couldn't find it out faster. That also reminds me of how the left is still talking about how that was part of the "crime". Yet it really wasn't. As always keep it right and remember there's always WELFARE!

Operation Able Danger

Since we are going to go back in time with this closed session of congress. Let us go back before the war in Iraq, before 9-11. If 9-11 never occured it could be argued that we wouldn't be sitting in Iraq right now. So why did 9-11 happen and could it be prevented? Lt. Col. Shaffer said that by mid-2000, three of the 9-11 hijackers not including Atta, were identified as a threat. Using a method called "data mining" is how this information was aquired. Here is what Rep. Weldon had to say on his findings...
Mr. Speaker, I rise because information has come to my attention over the past several months that is very disturbing. I have learned that, in fact, one of our Federal agencies had, in fact, identified the major New York cell of Mohamed Atta prior to 9/11; and I have learned, Mr. Speaker, that in September of 2000, that Federal agency actually was prepared to bring the FBI in and prepared to work with the FBI to take down the cell that Mohamed Atta was involved in in New York City, along with two of the other terrorists. I have also learned, Mr. Speaker, that when that recommendation was discussed within that Federal agency, the lawyers in the administration at that time said, you cannot pursue contact with the FBI against that cell. Mohamed Atta is in the U.S. on a green card, and we are fearful of the fallout from the Waco incident. So we did not allow that Federal agency to proceed.
Lt. Col Shaffer's findings weren't even put in the 9-11 commission report. Why when Shaffer and his men brought this intell to our government three times in 2000 was he turned down? "The Wall" between the CIA and FBI had some to do with it and their lack of sharing information. So now not only do we have facts like President Clinton had the opportunity to kill Bin Laden and failed, we have the fact that Atta and some of his men were in our grasp as well. That is where our faliure started. That is the snowball to why we now mourn 3,000 dead. You call President Bush a liar and fixing the intel to go into an unjust war. I say President Clinton had great intel and did NOTHING with it. This is my first of many all out fights with you on the the left. Put on your boxing gloves and prepare to be knocked out. I won't let up on this anymore. Your hypocrisy and lack of patriotism is now going to be called out to light like it has never before. As always keep it right and keep it right here for the big fight!

Too much going on so little time!

I couldn't make up my mind on what to write about today so instead I hope you don't mind and will indulge me on both.

First: Hillary Clinton says that Mr. Libby lying is "reprehensible". I guess I find it funny on two accounts. The first being the obvious, who would know better than a Clinton about lying. Can we all remember the famous quote "I never had sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky", then have to use a lawyer to determine what "sexual relations". Yet Mr. Libby's lie was bad. The second part that is somewhat funny and a little disturbing. Senator Clinton is quick to call a man guilty before his trial. Is that the path we are now on in the United States that if a person is accused of something "he must be guilty". Don't forget that even if he did leak the name of Mrs. Wilson, that in itself was not a crime. He would be charged on lying about a case that doesn't exist.

Second: The special session of congress being called yesterday. What a waste of time and money. The democrats using this time to bring up an issue that is supposed to have been settled with the 9-11 commission. I say bring it on and we will really shed some light on what went wrong. This will be a perfect opportunity for the Repulicans to get "Able Danger" front and center for America can see. We can see once and for all the real problem that started during the Clinton years with missed opportunities. You want a fight liberals you will get one, the truth will be heard on how you miss the mark on national security and would rather waste time bickering on a issue that was settled sometime ago. Instead of wanting to get to the issue at hand and dealing with the president's new nominee for supreme court you would have us fight over a resolved issue. Yet I look forward to this fight and any fight that brings to light the hypocrisy of liberals. As always keep it right and when congress says that they want to make government more transparent then have "closed session" so you don't know whats being said remember thats is as transparent as they get.

I just read yesterday that the death toll in Iraq has now hit 2,000. A paticular milestone if you will for the left. I am however hear to say to the rest of the world "I AM NOT AFRAID". The media and all it frenzy would have you clutching your chest in horror. Instead I am bowing my head in honor. I like what General Patton once said "It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived". I understand that to mean more than just a cold thought about our men in service. I know it to be a debt a of gratitude and respect General Patton had for his men and the cause of freedom. I look back on the other wars we fought starting with the Revolutionary War where estimates reach almost 7,000 not including wounded. I know it is tough to look at the good in bad things but in this it is there. If freedom isn't worth fighting for, then I ask you what is? Freedom for you, freedom for me, freedom for mankind. I don't fear this number. I only fear the result of the number. What will it do to those who can't look past the death and see life in another country. What will we do as Americans? Will we cower in a corner when evil seems too much or will we understand that evil will never triumph as long as we have men and women like these 2,000 willing to put it all on the line for the cause of freedom. I will leave you with the quote many of you have seen before..."War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Has anybody heard of the phrase that there is no such thing as a free lunch? I won't presume or lead to you to believe that I am the authority on "socialized medicine". I am however a curious person. In this health care that is "free", who pays the doctor for the health care? I gather that it would be the government that is paying it. So where does the government get this money to pay the doctors? I would have to guess from taxes. So I am to pay for someone's health care that doesn't have any inclination to work for it, let alone anything in his or her life. Somebody needs to tell DNC Chairman Howard Dean this because apparently he wants everybody in the United States to have access to health care. Which in conservative terms that means "handout". Which also means more taxes. Chairman Dean would say..."If 40 industrial nations can do it and balance the budget at the same time, it's time to have somebody in the White House who can chew gum and think at the same time". Interesting thought, yet the Cato Institute has shown that this sort of health care leads to anything but a balanced budget. Here some interesting facts on socialized medicine..

-Any reduction in costs is achieved by limiting access to treatment.

Dare I?

Most of you probably know the radio host, Michael Savage. For those of you who don't, you need to listen to the man. I don't always agree with how he says things or even what he says. I did read his book "The Savage Nation" and enjoyed every bit. Why am I talking about this guy you ask? Well, I'm glad you asked. He is having a contest for his new co-host on his radio talk show and I am going to enter the contest for fun. I just want to see if I can even make the short list. I know that most of you who read this don't always agree with my view but I know you see my passion for what I believe and the fun I have debating politics. Just a Couple of Questions for the Liberals in the Room

First Question:
Why do you call President Bush a liar when the 9-11 committee said he wasn't, that it was a simple case of bad intel? In turn would give President Clinton a free pass who was found guilty and impeached for perjury?

Second Question:
Why are you hung up on President Bush and his guard service and President Clinton again recieves a free pass on fleeing to Canada to avoid the military?

These questions have been burning in me for sometime and I hope there is a liberal out there that can explain this and sort it out for me. As always keep it right and remember if you can't do it...it's ok the federal government will do it for you!

I thought we could start this week off with a bang (pun intended). The NRA has an awesome program to teach children about gun safety and what to do if they find a gun. The program's focus is on the motto of "Stop Don't Touch,Leave the Area,Tell an Adult". The program itself started in 1988 and has taught millions of children about safety. Using specialist from all areas including; clinical psychologists, reading specialists, teachers, curriculum specialists, urban housing safety officials, and law enforcement personnel. This program is gear at "prevention" not intervention. The program is to teach kids what to do if they happen upon a gun. I believe in this program and will take my kids to the class one day. Yet there is opposition to it as FoxNews has reported. A emergency room doctor is apparently smarter than the psychologists, specialist and other professionals who have helped put this program together. Mr. Kellermann (the doctor) said we shouldn't burden kids with that responsibility. Nope we should child proof guns, is the answer according to Mr. Kellermann as if that would solve the problem. You see that is where he is wrong. First, as parents we need to take responsibility when owning a firearm of any kind. To lock it up or out of reach of a child is a start. Secondly, yes we DO need to teach our kids that nasty "R" word. I was taught with my very first BB gun the seriousness of gun safety and still use it today. At a very young age my dad taught me that even a BB gun isn't a toy and could hurt someone. With that I have grown up to respect guns and know their place. Yet in today's society we see the rush to keep our kids so hidden from any responsibility in life we fail to see that we only cripple them when they get older. I have a good saying to live by "teach your kid to act like an adult and he or she will grow up to be one". As always keep it right and gun control means hitting your target.

In this post I have a bone to pick. I have to admit that I don't like Mr. Richard Clarke very much at all. He has never impressed me much and yesterday just added to it. ABC news has reported a spy in the White House. His name, Leandro Aragoncillo. Now mind you I am not defending the President or Vice President on this, this guy also worked for former Vice President Al Gore. So the point isn't that, it is how the left would like to forget about history or just rewrite it. ABC says that the CIA and FBI are calling this the first case of espionage in modern history. I guess I should ask what they mean by "modern history". Mr. Clarke would say this...

"I don't know of a case where the vetting broke down before and resulted in a spy being in the White House"

Yet I don't believe this is the case at all. For those of you who are older than 30, does the name Alger Hiss ring a bell? A known communist spy who the left would love for you and I to forget about. One reason being, Richard Nixon! You see the left has been trying to rewrite history about that trial and who Joseph McCarthy was since the 40's and 50's. As a top official in the White House Alger Hiss served as Secretary General for President Truman. Yeah, Mr. Aragoncillo is the first, only if you never had a history lesson! As always keep it right and remember being politically correct means always having to say your sorry!

President Bush Nomination, Crazy or Genius?

I haven't been able to decide on Harriet Miers yet. I don't think anybody has for that matter. I have heard the famous "good ole boy system" is well in effect. Yet, I argue this, how is that a bad thing? First, from the position of just because President Bush seems to roll with some smart folks should only be good on him. Secondly, what is wrong with hiring a person you trust will do a good job. Another argument I have heard is "she was never a judge". My argument for that is neither was Rehnquist and he turned out to be an excellent judge. Ms. Miers also has the background of serving as president of both the Dallas and Texas Bar Association. A liberal would ask, "what is her position on this issue"? Yet my question is "how does she feel about her roll on interpreting the constitution"? Yet with all that said, apparently some democrats have already started praising the nomination. I have to admit with all the excitement from the democrats on this something doesn't feel right. I mean do they know something I don't that makes her appealing to democrats? Although maybe President Bush has nominated a lady that is acceptable to both Republicans and Democrats alike. I am going to have to watch this trial...err I mean confirmation hearing. I hope the critics are wrong and this will set the legacy of President Bush. I hope that with the faith we put in the president he doesn't snub us to try to reach out to democrats on a major issue like this. Good news from the polling world. According to a poll put out by Marist College, former Mayor Giuliani is favored over Senator Clinton in the presidential race. This poll being taken in their very own state of New York of course. With Giuliani getting 49% and Clinton a mere 40%. In their own party Giuliani would get 67% and Clinton 52%. I am hoping that this is a good sign that 2008 is not out of the question. I know during the 2004 election I heard jokes about "either Kerry now or Hillary later". I never bought in to that and with these new polls out I am feeling more hope. You see the democratic party I believe is on their last breath if they don't change soon. I think the American people are tired of their name calling without solutions. It gets old hearing the same old "it's President Bush's fault" over and over again. You would think President Bush was second to God in power yet as evil as the devil listening to democrats. They know the end is near for them, look at what they are trying to do with Tom Delay. What about last week with Bill Bennet. Nothing they have nothing yet are looking for a scandal around every corner. The whole time having nothing but rhetoric to offer. They are a party that is ceasing to exist. The best they seem to have to offer probably won't be able to carry the state she was just the senator of. Don't let this however keep you from going to those polls in '08 but let this be a little pick me up for those of you who have doubted the Republican machine. Yesterday, former FEMA director Michael Brown sat before a panel to discuss what went wrong on the response to Hurricane Katrina. It is interesting on how people can turn on you so fast. To start off I will not say mistakes weren't made by FEMA or the former director. With that said we can get into meat of the problem here. What really went wrong? Before we do that, let's look at the credibility of Mr. Brown.
-Mr. Brown has led Homeland Security's response to more than 164 presidentially declared disasters and emergencies, including the 2003 Columbia Shuttle disaster and the California wildfires in 2003
-2004, Mr. Brown led FEMA's thousands of dedicated disaster workers during the most active hurricane season in over 100 years
-Mr. Brown served on the President's Consequence Management Principal's Committee, which acted as the White House's policy coordination group for the federal domestic response to the 9-11 attacks
-His background in state and local government also includes serving as an assistant to the city manager with emergency services oversight responsibilities and as a city councilman.
So maybe we could rephrase the question above. Maybe we should ask, "Why now did FEMA fail"? I don't think it did (make mistakes yes, fail no). Here is what Mr. Brown had to say about it and I don't think I will need to comment much further...
"My biggest mistake was not recognizing by Saturday that Louisiana was dysfunctional"
"I very strongly personally regret that I was unable to persuade Gov. Blanco and Mayor Nagin to sit down, get over their differences, and work together. I just couldn't pull that off."

The problem wasn't with a man with a background of successss. The problem was in the corrupt government oLouisianana. Who didn't even issue a mandatory evacuation until 24hrs before Katrina struck. Who didn't use the resources at hand (i.e. school buses). Who didn't learn from Hurricane George where New Orleans found out that the Superdome is not a good evacuation point. Yet here we are taking a man with a clean record and making him out to be some bum off the street. While folks like Governor Blanco, Mayor Nagin and Senator Landrieu get a free pass. I'm sure there was some reason these five teachers were murdered. I'm sure that maybe they were stealing oil or at least maybe helping the United States steal oil from their own country. If you haven't heard but yesterday five Iraqi teachers were shot along with their driver. I would like to hear a liberals point of view on this. How is it the United States fault on this one? I mean this and other stories like this should show that the terrorist involved in this murdering and homicide bombing don't care about life. Why in the world would they kill their own? How is that supposed to be anything but murdering of innocent people. I can tell you why, the whole idea about them fighting for their country or fighting the "evil" of the United States is bull. They have proven for the last couple hundred years they don't care who they kill just as long as they can. I'm sick of listening to the left wing lunatics telling me that if "United States would leave Iraq and Israel only would leave Palestine, terrorism would stop". Yeah tell that to those teachers. I remember standing and facing the flag when I was in grade school every morning reciting the words above. Apparently it is a subtle way the government is trying to "force" Americans to become Christian. It never ceases to amaze me the level of INtolerance the left has for Christianity. One would have to ask is how is this UNconstitutional? I know you liberals will quote "the constitutional seperation of church and state". I will however challenge any liberal to show me where in the Constitution the words "seperation of church and state" are located. When don't find it I again challenge you to tell me what it means. The meaning of this small phrase is very misunderstood, which in itself is understanding considering the lies the left has been spewing for quite sometime. So let me tell you Thomas Jefferson, spoke and is quoted on this he was speaking before a church. The point was to let them know the STATE wouldn't dictate the CHURCH. The founding fathers however knew the very foundation of this country was to be founded on Godly principles according to CHRISTIAN values. It seems ironic to me that in another case of INtolerance fromt the left where the Supreme Court ordered the Ten Commandments out of Judge Roy Moore's court. Yet before this descision came to pass the Supreme Court Justices has to walk into a building that has the Ten Commandments engraved on it. Walk through doors with the Ten Commandments on it. Yet some how the Ten Commandments in Judge Moore's court were some how offensive to them. Not to mention ever since Congress starting meeting in 1776 they have opened with a prayer. I am going to take a minute away from the chaos in New Orleans and talk about freedom. Just yesterday I went to McDonalds and asked for one of their combos. Fair enough, until I ask to "Super Size" it. The young lady informs me something I recall hearing that the golden arches is not serving the "Super Size" option anymore. According to her it was because of a lawsuit that caused the resteraunt to change its "evil" ways. Now begins my crazy mind thinking. I am a young man who desires the option of a coke, burger and fries all of which I want to be too big for me to eat and if I do accomplish the task I want to be so stuffed I can't move. Nope I can't do that because some knucklehead decided that I don't have the right to CHOOSE. I am all about eating right and hope to eat right more and more everyday. Maybe even one day I will eat so good I won't go to McDonalds ever. Yet I want that to be MY choice not the choice of some person who has no personal responsibility and doesn't know when to say when. Which brings me to another web of tangled lies from the left. Why is it that the left is all for Mr. Kevorkian and his "mercy" killing machine, yet I can't rot my own body out by smoking, eating bad food or the like? I mean come on why is it not my choice to do dumb things like this. I hate the fact that in our some would take my freedom for the sake of hoping to save my life. I would say that it is par for the course for those who know nothing of personal responsibility. They would rather the government choose what is right for them instead of looking inside themselves and choosing. Thats worked in the past.....NOT! Can you imagine waiting on a hurricane and you without transportation or any way of evacuating your city. All the while you know your evacuation plan consists of your mayor using city buses to pick you and others up who are unable to get out of the city. Yet, your mayor won't issue the order or let those buses used to come get you. When you do survive the storm and able to make it to the shelter where the city is letting folks in, you hope to be able to quench your thirst or maybe have a meal. Not if you lived in New Orleans you wouldn't, you would find out such things like your mayor turned down your ride in hopes that Greyhound would be able to the job of the city. Then when you get to the shelter you find that local officials turned down the Red Cross and their food. Hoping you would go elsewhere for it. This seems like a sick joke but it isn't. The mayor said that he wanted Greyhound to come and pick up the citizens of New Orleans because he wanted them comfortable. How in the amount of time would you be able to moblize Greyhound buses to evacuate part of a city? Why not take the lives of these people and realize they would probably rather survive on a city bus than die waiting for a Greyhound. Now FoxNews has announced that the Louisiana Department of Homeland Security told Red Cross not to bring food to the Superdome. As they didn't want to make the Superdome a "magnet". So all the while they were crying where's the food, the Red Cross was standing by waiting for the green light. All this and liberals still find some reason how this is the president's fault. A good sign that political agenda is more important than the truth or just being objective. As always keep it right and let this disaster be a lesson to all of us, the government can't save you only you can save you!

Now on to why PETA deserves this title. PETA, as everyone knows stands for "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals". PETA has been given the title of "most serious domestic terrorism threat" by the FBI. What would seem harmful about people who just want the ethical treatment of animals. Well I would say it has to do with the way they get the ethical treatment and their ideology of them as well. Let us first start with their ideology. PETA believes that animals and humans have no difference in their importance. Which would explain why they would in 2003 compare chickens to holocaust victims. Yes, CHICKENS are as valuable as those who were murdered by horrible perportions are the same. They would even say in that a recent shark attack against a child is just "revenge" against humans, who had it coming any way. I know it seems like these folks are heartless but their not. Consider this, when they found out about Palistinians using donkeys to deliver bombs they immediatley faxed Yasser Arafat. They actually pleaded with him to "keep the animals out of this" and to make sure no animals would be hurt during their suicide bombings. That is why PETA deserves to be the very first Moron of the Month. Before I let all this soak in I will leave you with a quote from PETA, president and co-founder Ingrid Newark, in September 1989 issue of Vogue...

New Orleans, The Investigation: Part One

Can anybody tell me why these buses were not used to help evacuate folks in New Orleans? I have read part of the Louisiana Disaster Plan and it states that these and other city buses are to be used for those who don't have the means to evacuate. Well, Mayor if the President was slow to react what do you call this...lack of action? In the political spectrum the blame game is in full effect and I am sure that those who are doing the most screaming have something to hide. I have another question, why did the local government crumble as fast as it did? Whoops, I better not say that Senator Landrieu said she would punch the next person who brought up her and her colleagues incompetence, even if it was the president. What a shining example of democratic leadership. Seriously though how come these plans failed at the local and state level and now it is the federal governments fault for being too slow to react? The federal government is the LAST line of defense on these sort of problems. Yes, the federal government should ASSIST the state but in all reality it should be the state not the federal government who should be held accountable for lack of response. Somebody needs to start putting the state officials feet to the fire as to why they failed not to why the federal government is slow. This will my first of these "Investigative" posts into what really went wrong in New Orleans and my guess the first problem was to elect a mayor with little to no personal responsibility. I made it! The hurricane missed my family and I. We made it safe to Alabama and are relaxing in a nice hotel. Where I am typing my post from. In the midst of this messy hurricane I have found something interesting. I say interesting instead of great because I don't really know this guys true intentions. With that said, the president of Venezuela has offered the United States food, oil, and drinking water. I am very excited to hear of another country putting some thought into what they can do for the United States. I love hearing about this kind of generosity and wish I could thank President Hugo Chavez myself. With this hurricane I was struck with the very question of "Who does help the United States when WE have a natural disaster". Who helps us, who else has offered us food when we were hungry? I know that we, no matter what liberals say have given literally BILLIONS of dollars to help aid countries in times of need. If you know of other stories that follow suit with President Chavez I would like to hear it. I think Americans need to know that were not the only people on this planet willing to reach into our wallet and help someone even if we don't agree with their politics. Israel retreating? As I watch this event unfold I wonder is this the right thing to do? Under these circumstances should Israel just leave their settlements? To whom are they even leaving them to? I know the "correct" answer, the Palestinians, but in them who is it really being left to. It is not like Israel is leaving for another government to take over that spot of land. The Israelis are leaving this land to a people with no government. Just like the former Minister Sharansky said, he would be more comfortable if the Palestinians had a democratic government then he said the plan could work. This however is what is being called the equivelent to the United States giving Texas back to Mexico. It is absurd, the only outcome of this for more terrorism to take hold in Israel. Those who hate the Israelis will only see this as a victory and for them to only increase their pressure and spread more terror. Look at what they have accomplished, they actually have gained ground in their terrorist activities. Now they can pray to Allah that the end will be near for the Israelis. I hope the Minister Sharon is correct in this matter because his people depend on it. I hope and pray that the Palestinian Authority will use this as an act of peace. I am happy to see a man in a political position take responsibility for his wrong doing. The Governor of Ohio, has been found guilty of not reporting gifts that are worth in excess of $5,000. I have to say that he did break the law for not reporting and should have been fined the $1,000 for each offense. What makes me repsect a man that does that you ask? Well the fact that he can own up to the mistake. No excuses, like my secretary didn't inform me of the situation or I must have added it up wrong. No the governor did what respectibul man does when he makes a mistake, he takes full responsibility for it. Here are his own words on the matter...

"I accept total responsibility for my mistake, and I'm sorry," the governor said.

"Words are not adequate to express the remorse that I feel personally for the embarrassment that I have caused to my administration and to this great state. ... I hope you will understand that my mistake, though serious, was not a purposeful one and hope and pray that you will accept my heartfelt apology and allow me the opportunity to restore your trust."

Now in time we will see if he really means what he says. It does put a little more faith in me that although people in the position of power can and do make mistakes they are still man enough to own up to them and hopefully change their ways.

I suppose he needed the evidence that bin Laden was behind the attack on the USS Cole to go after him. Former President Clinton didn't need to know of the fact he was "just" a threat. He needed to know that bin Laden was behind the 2000 bombing of a military ship before he would go after him. Good thinking, so far that has proved to be a great way to deal with the threats against the United States and its allies. Yeah its not like bin Laden would ever kill 3,000 people or anything. Bin Laden was maybe misunderstood!?! Who knows, but in 1996 Bill Clinton, according to Top Secret documents turned down an offer to turn bin Laden over to the United States. In the report we find that, bin Laden has great freedom of travel and is not hindered when kept on the move. They even told Mr. Clinton that bin Ladens prolonged stay in Afghanistan "could prove more dangerous to U.S. interests in the long run than his three-year liaison with Khartoum.” Yeah even on vacation President Bush does a better job at dealing with threats than Bill Clinton did working. I am anxious to hear liberals run to his defense on this. It will be very interesting, listening to which major media organizations actually report this and how. I am guessing not so much on CBS. It would hurt Hillary in 2008. At Judicial Watch, the president of the political watch dog is quoted at saying "This is not a case of hindsight being 20/20, these documents prove the Clinton administration knew the danger Osama bin Laden posed to the United States back in 1996 and yet failed to take any meaningful action to stop him.” As always keep it right and don't forget to save the vegetables, eat more meat.

Yesterday former President Clinton (Bill for those of you who were thinking Hillary), spoke to a crowd in New York. In his talk he said that if he knew that Bin Laden was behind the USS Cole bombing of 2000 he would have done something about it. Nope this isn't candid camera and isn't a joke. This is the same individual while in office had an opportunity to kill Bin Laden and didn't do it. I am realizing now who Bill Clinton really is. He is the type of guy who "almost" was in a fight and when the other guy was out of ear shot tells his buddies "yeah I would have messed that guy up". I would of done this or I would have done that is so silly for him of all people to say about actually using force for something other than political gain. He would also go on to say that he saw Bin Laden as more of a threat than President Bush. Oh, is that why you are talking in New York about what you WOULD have done while the president is saying what he IS doing. Mr. Clinton you of all people should stay quite about Bin Laden. I mean really lets compare who has done what. Bill Clinton, shot some cruise missiles at tents or President Bush who actually invaded two countries. Two countries that haven't seen a real election in decades or ever, now have both had elections with voter turn out that should and does shame the United States. Where he made it possible for a woman to have equal rights and genuinely have a voice in the middle east where a womans voice gets lost in the violence. So I say former President Clinton that if you indeed did see Bin Laden more of a threat than President Bush does or has, then why didn't you do anything? In any other job we would call that incompetence! As always keep it right and if you get a chance try some fried beans, maybe they are just as good as refried beans and we're just waisting time!

What could be worse than a young man to lose his own life in the defense of his country? I think having his mom lose her ever loving mind is what. This lady at first glance was a little out there, demanding the ear of the president. I understand her grief at the loss of her son but she needs to understand if the president does it for one he will have to do it for everyone. Not to mention she did have a meeting with him last year. Where in fact she praised the president for "I know he is sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis. I know he is sorry and feels some pain for our loss and I know he is a man of faith". How about this quote "...the gift the president gave us, the gift of happiness of being together". So far so good right? So why have I said she lost her mind then you ask. That was a year ago, now she has had a change of heart and has a different story to tell. If you asked her now about the meeting with the president a year ago, today she would say this of him "...we wanted him to look at the pictures of Casey and he didn't want to look at the pictures" or "...he wouldn't even call him "him or "he" just "your loved one". And even crazier she has called for Israel to pull out of palestine. WOW, what a dramatic change for a mom who just lost her son. Now, I ask myself why the change? I believe that there are people talking to her such as michael moore, who is feeding her lies. You can go to his website and see the exploitation of this lady. Not one mention of her son, other than the fact he calls where she is prostesting "CAMP CASEY". Again, Mr. Moore has taken a victim of this war and made two from it. What this lady needs to do is to go home and be with her family WHO ARE ALSO GREIVING and comfort each other. As her son Andy asked his mom, "to come home because you need to support us at home".

I have come across some interesting polls that gives me great hope for the 2008 election. Who is the one person that democrats and republicans alike are holding their breath for their official announcement of 2008 presidential candidacy, Hillary Clinton. You have to respect her pull in the political arena and never on any circumstance underestimate an opponent. With that said however a recent polling is giving conservatives a better look at 2008.

Gallup Poll states...(favorable ratings)
Rudy Guliani 64%
Hillary Clinton 53%
John McCain 51%
John Kerry 42%

Now to mention that in another poll the majority of New Yorkers don't want Senator Clinton to run for the presidential election in 2008. My prediction, 3 years early, that if Senator Clinton cannot win New York she will lose the presidential election (this all of course assuming she runs). I think with this alternative media running in high gear and still gaining speed more Americans are able to see through the political tactics of the democratic party. Not to mention when you have a guy like Howard Dean at your party's helm what could go right? The democratic party is losing steam and it is obvious to tell if you just listen to them whine. The worse off they get, you can bet the louder and more shrill their screaming will get. I am excited already about the 2008 election, as I intend to be even more involved and attend some rallies too. I think that the republicans can offer too many LEADERS than the democrats it's just a matter of them taking the reins and going with it. As always keep it right and remember that those who accuse everyone only convict ONE!

The Department of Education!

I'm reading about this in the Cato Institute. I never thought much about it until now. A department that was started during the Carter Administration. A new era I suppose of what the role of the government has in our personal lives. I'm not going to sit here and bash President Carter (although I would love too), the fact remains that every president following him should have tossed out this money hole. Now when I speak of the government I am strictly speaking of the federal level. My thought is that the education of my kids should fall on me and the state I currently reside in. Departments such as these only seem to grow bigger, which in turn obviously needs more money, which means higher taxes. The president has been criticized for not putting enough money into the Department of Education, I will now criticize him and congress for spending TOO MUCH. A budget that started out at $14 Billion, has now grown to a proposed budget of $57.3 Billion in 26 years. In those 26 years what has the DOE done for our children. Well in their very own report card in 2002 they didn't do so well, according to a test in 1994 the majority of senior high school students would name Germany, Italy or Japan as a United States Ally in WW2 (for those of you who took that test and are reading this, please next election DON"T VOTE). That is amazing to me that with all the money spent in to educating our young we still have kids graduating that have only a basic understanding of our government and its great history. So now I would propose that we do eliminate this blackhole of money. We as patriotic folks need to change this habit of the government of horning in on our lives. Start by taking the education of our kids. It's not the governments job to do this, just like I have learned in the military we need to solve this problem at the lowest level. As always keep it right and remember if you run into a man named Reese and you are eating his cups don't argue, just give Reese's his cups.

So in the wake of the bombings in London an old arguement has been brought up again. Surveillance of the public. Putting cameras on subways, street corners, etc. is supposed to be the norm. With this war on terror we as free Americans should except as collateral damage. Why not, I would ask myself. If you're not doing anything wrong, your in public what's the big deal? Still being open to this, I do however have more than a little reservation about it. I'm not going to argue that the cameras haven't already proven useful in the "investigation" of the bombings in London. I would argue that unless someone is monitoring every camera, every second and every person on that camera, how is it going to keep me safe? The best part about being in the United States should be the less you have to see or deal with the government or have them constantly watching you. I don't need cameras to be safe. I don't need to be searched to be safe. I don't need to have my rights taken away to be safe. Benjamin Franklin once said "Anyone who would give up a little liberty for the sake of securtiy, deserves neither liberty or security". I am a big fan of that statement and it has made quite an impact on my view of the government. So what is the solution to the problem you ask me? Well I am glad you asked. I'm not sure there is or even should be a cookie cut solution to this. I think tougher consequences for criminals, even more so for those committing terrorist acts. One solution isn't always popular to everybody but is with me...PROFILE. Yes, I said it, a muslim once said "Not all muslims are terrorist but all terrorist are muslim" (something to that effect). So why don't we profile those from Arab countries. If Muslims don't like it, then they need to crack down on their fellow Muslims to quit committing terrorist acts. Now those are not all the solutions but some that I have thought of. Let me know of any you have thought of that would be a better solution than having a camera watching your every move.

Should Saddam's trial be televised?

I would lean more to yes on this issue. As I would find it interesting to watch a trial of this magnitude, how it works, who is called for witnesses so on and so forth. In the aspect of is it right or ethical...I still say yes. If he is innocent he would have nothing to hide and televising it would only help that cause. I look forward to seeing libs come to his defense about this issue and would really like to hear any negatives on showing it. Honestly I can't think of any so please if your a liberal out there and have a reason "educate" me. Lets have a round of applause given for our president. A man that knows the importance of getting folks into the vacant positions in government. First by blowing away all the liberals with the nomination of John Roberts to the supreme court justice. The liberals crying he is TOO catholic. Yet not the right wing fanatic they were crying about even before they knew who was being nominated. Now while the senate is taking a really needed break with all the work they have been doing (lots of sarcasm there). The president says there is work to be done at the U.N. and I know the man to do it. Since the senate doesn't want to do its job, the president will still do his. Of course in doing this he has now brought Senator Kennedy to a high pitched shrill on this "devious maneuver". Apparently the maneuver Kennedy is referring to is actually doing his job. How dare the president step in and do Senator Kennedy's job when he can't complete that himself. I look forward to listening to all the whining of the liberals this week as to how horrible it was for the president to do the unthinkable in government and actually ACCOMPLISH something. Who knows maybe they will take this lead and do the same......NAH...HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. - It was hot today! Whew! Like 104 out. The hottest day of the year. It was so hot that Angelina Jolie was adopting an Eskimo baby.
- It was so hot in D.C. that Dick Cheney’s pacemaker was replaced with an ice maker.
- Karl Rove was under fire once again today. This time for leaking the plot of the new Harry Potter book to President Bush.
- The space shuttle launch was cancelled today. That’s when you know the price of gasoline is too high!
- Gas is now so expensive that I saw two guys shooting at each other in the carpool lane and they were in the same car!
- I also someone being towed. Not because there was a problem with the car but because it was cheaper. The mileage was actually better being towed.
- Cell phones are now the number one distraction to California drivers. That’s pretty amazing considering the other distractions – like fake boobs and drive-bys.
- The Major League Baseball All Star Game was last night. Several Dodger players were there. They were selling hot dogs, parking cars – but they were there.
- In a new survey it was found that roughly 30% of Americans believe in ghosts. It was also found that liberals are more likely to believe in ghosts that conservatives. Which explains why liberals are so against the death penalty. They’re scared they might piss the guy off and he’ll come back.

Good VS. Evil

A battle that has been going on since the beginning of time. If you are a liberal the line on that issue seems to evade you. Why is it then that anybody would try to blame the United States for terrorism? Apparently it is our fault that terrorist acts are being played out in Iraq. Before the United States the country of Iraq was a peace loving country only with a government that carried out terrorist act on its own people. Don't get me wrong on this issue, I have no problem with a reasonable debate on HOW to fight terror. I do have a problem with, when all else fails "blame the United States". As if terrorism wasn't around before the war in Iraq. Liberals say that President Bush and his policies has made Iraq a breeding ground for terrorism. I say that's better than Clinton making the United States of America a safe haven for terrorist. Liberals say President Bush has taken our liberties with the Patriot Act (which was actually voted in by democrats and republicans alike). Yet, that is worse than the policies to help those in arab countries to get their visas faster under Clinton. I have no problem debating the strategies on this war. My problem stems from the fact that there are those in the United States that can't figure out who is good and who is evil in this battle. We can sit here and play the blame game all day yet it is apparent to me that no matter who is in office terrorist are going to do their best to kill innocent people. Also, why is it that in TIME magazine they are going to interview a would be suicide attacker? As if this will shed light on to WHY he is doing what he is doing. I can save you some time in reading that article, "the United States is to blame". As if this guy is some respectable person of society who has something GOOD to give back to the world. Yet if he would have fulfilled his job he just might have blown up a pizza shop full of innocent people. Well in effort not to keep my articles to long I will leave you with this question.

sir, i am writing this letter to thank you. thank you for calling attention to yourself. doing so has brought another item out that most folks seem to have forgotten about. the very reason democrats cry foul for going to war in Iraq. WMD. you see for awhile nobody even noticed that you went to africa to "investigate" the charge the president and british intelligence had made that saddam was trying to aquire yellowcake uranium. nobody noticed until you came back and touted that it was a lie. yet what was really missed, and the very reason i am so glad you are back in the media, is the senate committee that called you a liar. nobody noticed that until now. mr. wilson you have proved to me and America that those on the left will doing anything even if that means lying about their own country while defending a genocidal dictator to further your agenda. you see sir, the fact is saddam DID try purchasing the yellowcake and actually had a stockpile of it (apprx. 500 tons). a stockpile found al Tuwaitha nuclear weapons development plant south of Baghdad. a stockpile that even the new york times noted that needed to be moved to a safer location. again sir, thank you.

have you ever been driving along in traffic and next thing you know you are coming to a complete stop. i mean the big 0 mph! like the scene from office space, where the old guy with his walker, passes up peter in his car. only to find out its only a guy changing his tire and everybody in front of you needs to watch as they pass by. basically, something stupid. you know what i am talking about, we have all been there. well it seems that we are going to be there on the senate floor. no don't panic there wasn't a terrorist attack, although with how the democrats are reacting you would think so. what is starting the gridlock in congress you ask? could you believe the president is actually going to nominate a judge to fill the slot of ms. o'connor, who recently resigned as supreme court justice. you see as i get older and see more and more of life i am figuring out why the democrats are going to put everything on hold for this and fight all the president does. you see the democrats are finally realizing there are less of them in the senate than there are of those other guys. sum it up they can't win elections. without elections they cannot push forward their agenda. so how can they solve the problem? make sure they dictate the country through the courts. it is their last hope, the last breath of a dying party. who is going to lead them to victory? the only man that knows how, senator ted "i can swim drunk" kennedy. i know you might think that this time the patriot has lost it but listen to the quote from kennedy himself...
"If the President abuses his power and nominates someone who threatens to roll back the rights and freedoms of the American people, then the American people will insist that we oppose that nominee, and we intend to do so."
where is the abuse senator? for being a senator since the early 60's you sure seem to be ignorant of the system. correct me if i am wrong but all a president does is nominate the man or woman he sees as a good judge, followed by the judical committee vote and finally the senate vote. i believe that is how it goes. so why for the love of all that is good won't the democrats just do their job and vote. i'm sure there has to be more important issues on the table like sending my hard earned money to africa for warlords...err i mean aids. well lets hope those in front stop looking at stupid things on the side of the road and just drive. as always keep it right and remember not everything on the side of the road is cause for stopping traffic.

interesting. i wonder on the day that we celebrate as our day of independence what is it that we are independent of. don't get me wrong i love my freedoms and don't ever want to give them up. i appreciate the cost at which they are paid. i'm just wondering at the direction that our country has been heading what will it take until the people of the United States takes this declaration seriously and does abolish our government. we as the people of the United States need to remind the politicians that it is us (the people) not them that has the power. they don't give us the power it is ours as citizens of this country. when a "free" country decides wether or not you have the "right" to keep your property because the government wants a new k-mart where your house is, we need to rethink how our government uses its power. we as a people need the occasional reminder that the ball is forever in our court on wether the government does right or not. we can only blame ourselves for not standing united to let our government know that they may take our life but they will never take our freedom (good quote). as i type this i am reminded of the bloodshed on the many battlefields for those rights. the very rights we are not exercising. remember your freedom and remind your politician that it is your unalienable right given by the creator and not theirs to give and take away. as always keep it right and happy 4th of July....HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!

book review!

i just finished this book the other day and i really enjoyed it. if you have ever watched the movie "Blackhawk Down" then you will have a good idea of this book. the author is the pilot that was shot down and taken hostage. he talks of his buddies, his training and the whole experience of being taken hostage. i recommend this book to anybody that appreciates or would like to learn to appreciate what our men and women of the military go through or could go through. it is a very tough book to read without getting emotional at times but a very good read. as always keep it right and don't forget to keep reading.

PS i have notified both of my senators and governor that i disagree with the ruling of the supreme court on governments right to seize your property. hope we all have done our part to let our voice be heard.

that your property is your property. not to be taken by the government to be used for "economic" purposes. in a ruling of 5-4 the supreme court is going to let your government seize your property if they see fit to put up outlet malls, highways, or anything else that would economicaly help your city. this is one of the scariest rulings from supreme court. as a homeowner i am very upset at the fact that our justice department would be able to help take my property yet has trouble keeping murders and rapist behind bars. very few times will i ask my readers for a "call to arms". meaning that we need to be on our phones, email, snail mail or any other means of communication to let our senators know that we (conservatives and liberals alike) do not agree with this ruling.

Downing Street Memo!?!

here is a memo that is supposed to be the minutes from a meeting with some officials in england. this memo, according to john kerry, will be brought before congress today, to bring evidence to impeach president bush. according to the memo, an individual by the name of "C" says that the united states is fixing its intelligence around the current policy for going to war with iraq. interesting that when this story first broke earlier this year their wasn't much coverage on it. kerry is trying to prove that president bush has put the united states in an illegal war with saddam hussien. interesting considering it was john kerry who voted for the use of force. don't forget that we have already had investigation after investigation about this intelligence conflict. also, who is this "C" and does he or she have an agenda? i'm not surprised that john kerry would use hearsay to bring charges. there are a lot of questions as to the person saying this. i will always be surprised when somebody from another country with no apparent name will be believed over our own president. we don't know this persons agenda or his resource when recieved the information. to kerry however this sounds like sweet revenge on his mess up with dan rather. when are you going to get it kerry it is over, you lost bush won. in the words of my sister, build a bridge and get over it. i guess he figured i can't win the election even with all the recounts maybe if i cry long enough people will listen to me. i'm sure that there are no bills or laws that need to be looked over instead of bickering over something that the press (who has already shown they don't like the president) hasn't done anything with. well, i look forward to watching as the democratic party implodes. i will make a prediction, kerry is going to be pretty much alone on this one. this will be too much even for his own party. otherwise this i hope and pray will be the light everyone needs to see that the democratic party are doing nothing in congress but being a roadblock to progress for our country. as always keep it right and remember don't trust anybody that will only tell you his name is "C". HR810 is a bill before the senate for funding of embryonic stem cell research. here is my problem with it without even going into the right to life arguement. embryonic stem cells have not done anything for anybody as of yet. the only benefit of them is that they seem to cause cancer in lab rats. oh wait thats not a benefit. not to mention the very fact the there is another bill before the senate to fund chord blood stem cell research (HR596). which in fact has proven to help cure 60 different diseases. why is the world so determined to use embryos in lab expeirments. another example of liberal hypocrisy. liberals will yell and scream about not using animals in expeirments yet have no problem using a human embryo. why does that sound backwords? we need to get ahold of our senators and let them know that yes we do support stem cell research but no we don't support destroying human embryos.

with all my yelling about people and places around the world, my hometown has now become the center of my focus. i know you will think i am crazy for my blood pressure getting up over dog catching. here is the story...

in Lenawee County, Michigan our sheriff Richardson believes that his police officers are dog catchers. he has ordered them to go house to house making sure your dog is registered with the county. as in most cases it seems people don't know their rights. i hope anybody from Lenawee County reads this knows you don't have to tell these officers anything. they have no legal authority to search you or your property with out the proper legal documentation. this seems small to most people but to me is just another case of our government, either local, state or federal taking their "authority" too far. i am and will always be against any form of government that will take ANY of my liberties away no matter how big or small. i am in fact going to be calling the sheriff some time this week and will report back to you as to what his reasoning and how he understands your constitutional rights. as always keep it right and remember now more than ever READ YOUR CONSTITUTION!

WOW! what concept getting to choose the investments of your own money for your very own retirement. that kind of thinking sounds familiar, something like President Bush has been trying to do with social security. so i guess liberals believe that those with money are smart enough to invest their own but those of us who do struggle "earning" money aren't smart enough. why can't i take my own money and invest it where i choose? i don't NEED the federal government to provide me a retirement. that with the fact that social security was never meant to do that, it was supposed to supplement your retirement. now it has turned into a whole retirement for folks, just like welfare was supposed to help the unfortunate get back on their feet now is a crutch for those who don't like to work. americans come from a long history of being "independent", why now are we looking to be "dependent" on the federal government. nobody wants to work for anything, just give it to me. i have the "right" to that "free lunch". i am smart enough and don't need someone in washington to tell ME what do with MY money, retirement, what doctor i see, etc. call your congressman and let them know, you want your money back so that YOU can invest it just like Senator Kerry has done and maybe you too could be "Investor of the Week". as always keep it right and keep the money grabbing politician off your money!

sorry guys about not posting yesterday. dealing with a family situation is keeping me busy. thanks to all my friends for your prayers. now back to an interesting find that isn't so surprising to me...

"affirmative action causes more problems than it fixes"

it turns out that when you "bump up" an under qualified student he or she doesn't perform well at top colleges. i'm sure glad we pay these people to do research like this. according to the cato institute most minority students will leave high school without the minimum requirements needed to attend a four year college. the problem starts at the high school level where students are not held to higher expectations and are being shuffled through the classroom. we need to take time with these kids and teach them the basics and keep them in school long enough to graduate. here is a thought provoking question, why is it ok to hire a person, accept a students application to a college or just plain treat a person because of race, just as long as it's a minority? why can't we just hire or fire someone due to their skill or lack there of? we in the end severly under prepare our kids and in turn actually "enslave" minorities again. as always keep it right and stay in school!

how tolerant is the left...really?!

i was sent this picture the other day which started the old wheels to start turning. the left, a group of folks who claim to be tolerant of everyone. everyone? other than the examples above i have thought of others. if the left is so tolerant, what about the teacher who displayed the presidents picture in her classroom and was told to take it down because if you have bush you should have kerry too. fair enough if it was a group of pictures that showed all the candidates and who they beat in the presidential race. but it wasn't it was a group of pictures of ALL the presidents yet bush had to be taken down. what about in california where a high school student was told to stay home for a couple of days for his own safety. not because he was in a gang, nope, but because he wrote an essay on illegal immigration and was labeled a racist by students and teachers alike. why is it when you disagree with the left you are either a war monger, facist or racist? why is it with the left as long as your anything but a christian your rights of and from religion are cherished? for example the lady i believe in florida who wanted to where her veil on her drivers license because of "religious convictions" yet a teacher can't where a tiny cross on their shirt or a child pray in school. the left is always complaining how in tolerant the right is yet at both the DNC and the RNC which speakers were interrupted by hecklers. i'm not talking about the protestors outside but those who actually went inside to disrupt the convention. who is it that burns the american flag at rallies while calling thier own military murderers? i guess i'm a bit confused with the left, how is it that a tolerant people are so intolerant. i guess they mean to only those who agree with them. what a glorious day it is to see yet again the hypocrisy of the left in full view. as always keep it right and remember in the words of Jesus "love your neighbor as yourself."

recently, i have become more aware of some folks called the "minutemen." the controversy surrounding these men is unreal. please correct me if i am wrong on this, all these guys are doing is spotting those we don't speak of, crossing the border and notifying the border patrol. from what i am reading these guys are not even detaining those we don't speak of. now, i do understand that in all organizations some bad apples could arise and cause some trouble. that still doesn't mean that we as citizens cannot help and keep watch on our borders. we have neigborhood watch and folks don't make a fuss about that. what is so different about this group? i'm not sure but i am finding that this seems to be political more than a safety issue. i know this seems odd but i do differ from president bush on this. we have a problem and we have to address it and according to what i am hearing, the border patrol says there has been a dramatic decline on border crossings from those we don't speak of. i'm ready to be called a racist, bigot etc., liberals can bring it on. i'm none of those, i just believe we need to keep folks from just walking across our borders. remember the words of the 9-11 commission..."it's not if but when", refering to another terrorist attack. we have a security gap that needs closing and if it takes dedicated civilians we shouldn't attack them for it but should thank them. as always keep it right and if you don't understand those we don't speak of you need to watch "THE VILLAGE."

i am starting my blog back again as you can see with my last post. my schedule will be every monday i will be putting out an article. as in every case there are exceptions to the rule, so at my discretion i will post more as i hear of the events in the world moving. thank you for reading, debating and putting forth your wisdom. i hope on this blog you will a different atmosphere than other blogs and that i won't stop you from commenting, all i ask is to keep the language clean. i have been looking forward to coming back and getting some debate going so this is going to be fun. see ya'll next monday with my official post. as always keep it right, right here on mondays that is...lol (i couldn't help myself).

with that said i do however feel compelled to make a short comment about the pope. i'm not catholic but however am a christian. i believe in mourning the life of a great individual and a leader who lived a life for God. there might be some who say who cares he's just a man. your right, but he is a man who gave back to humanity but most of all a man who served God faithfully. we should all take a moment and let our ministers, pastors etc...know how much we appreciate their sacrifice for they are on the front lines in the spiritual battle. yes my fellow conservatives i am back. we have a lot to catch up on and some liberals to put in their place.

first, terri shiavo, unless you have lived under a rock for the past couple of months you are familiar with the name. what a sad day to have your own government willing to stand by while a run away judiciary gets away with murder. a day when government has no problem getting involved in the personal rights of citizens they are at a loss with saving the life of the innocent. but we should know that by now we have been working our way there as a society slowly. more and more we as a nation and humanity have lowered the value of life. not only that when we call a starving woman "beautiful." a word used to describe terri by her husbands lawyer, he must of thought the holocaust was "gorgeous." let us talk about this. my wife's grandmother is essentially a vegetable, she can't talk other than incoherent mumbling, she can't bath herself nor can she even feed herself. My grandmother (in-law) has alzheimers using the same calculations as used in terri shiavo we should stop feeding her. at least terri had the possiblity of therapy. what a slippery slope we just climbed on. also, most people i have talked with have told me "i wouldn't want to live that way", "i would want to die too." they missed it, you're not terri and you shouldn't make decisions regarding someones life based on "your feelings." i agree with the president, we should always error on the side of life. i am however dissappointed with his brother jeb. i would like to ask the governor this "where is the judges army keeping you from doing your job?" i know where his is, the state police, waiting for an order to follow. he could have saved her but that would have been political suicide. next time jeb, take some advice from your former collegue andrew jackson, next time tell judge greer to try to "enforce it" and do your job. as always keep it right and VOTE LIFE!

To those who read my blog understand I don't attack a persons character, I attack the character of what they are saying. I know at the end Kennedy disagrees with us being there...fine. His statement however said "that military presence has become part of the problem, not part of the solution". Now anything after that has no bearing on me unless it's....sorry. He is telling me our men and women are not accomplishing the mission when we are. He is also telling me that we are the ones who are inciting the violence. I'm not sure but I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark but don't you think the TERRORIST are the problem and not the U.S. military. The problem isn't the Senator complaining but with his analysis of who is causing the problems in Iraq.

Can you really tell me that Iraq is not better off with Saddam Hussein gone? Can you tell the people would rather be tortured and killed and live in oppression? Military: The Problem in Iraq!

According to the Senator from Massachusetts, he was quoted saying...

The U.S. military presence has become part of the problem, not part of the solution," Kennedy said in remarks prepared for delivery at Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies. "We need a new plan that sets fair and realistic goals for self-government in Iraq, and works with the Iraqi government on a specific timetable for the honorable homecoming of our forces."

How could a United States citizen that loves his country come to that conclusion? More so how could a "servant" of this country say such horrible things about the military? The same military that gives him the right to be safe in the United States and spew his garbage he calls "patriotism". How could a reasonable person come to the conclusion that we are the problem and not the people cutting off heads? The suicide bombers are not the problems it's the guys and gals rebuilding schools, churches, hospitals etc. We are the cause of the violence, if we would only just leave, that would solve the problem. No matter what your view on the decision of going to Iraq no "Patriot" could ever convince me that WE are the problem over there. You Senator Kennedy should be ashamed and hold your head low (as if it shouldn't have been before today). The very fact that he thinks my buddies are the problem and not the ones trying to kill us makes me sick to my stomach. Talk about not having the stomach for seeing tough times through. Yes, Senator Kennedy I do see the similarities of Vietnam showing up more and more these days. I see two bit Senators putting politics before the lives of our soldiers. The only accomplishment that will ever come of this is empowering our enemy and that sadly seems to be right on track for the senator. I pray for your soul that it might return and you see the error of your ways. As always keep it right and bottoms up Senator!

Can you believe it? I know it seems so simple to us that live in reality. To Chirac and liberals the cure for AIDS is simply raise more money. Now, instead of just coming door to door he wants to put a "small levy" on plane tickets bought. So a portion of your plane ticket cost is going to fight AIDS. WOW, what fresh new perspective on things Mr. Chirac. How is raising money in this manner going to fix the problems with AIDS. Money is not the problem, people being raped, shooting up or the like is the problem. Our goal should be to teach not to run the lives of these people by fixing every problem that arises. Teach morals, to abstain from sexual relations. Also, to get control of the rebels in certain countries there that are raping, murdering innocent children. Thats the key to it...not money. Yes, for you liberal out there that costs money but like I said before money has never been the issue, but the misuse of it has. Ask Mr. Annan about the misuse of money (although he might not be able to comment until the investigation is over). We need to focus the money already being spent on practical things and quit trying to convince me that there is some shortage of money. Like thats the reason folks have AIDS. I'm not buying it and neither should you. As always keep it right....and remember abstinence could save your life!

Condoleezza Rice

The lines are clearly drawn. Both sides fighting, one for truth and the other power. At this point both conservatives and liberal can agree on this. Yet the problem arises, who is fighting for what. The liberals will argue that yes we are just trying to find out the truth. Yet so will the conservatives. I think we need to look at the facts then. The fact is this isn't the 9-11 panel and yet we are still covering the same junk. Here is something for you liberals to smoke on, the Bush administration never said there was a link between Saddam and 9-11. They did however say as did the 9-11 commission that there was enough evidence supporting the link between Saddam and terrorist. So this whole notion that there wasn't a relationship is wrong. Here is a quote from our favorite Senator.

"Dr. Rice was a key member of the national security team that developed and justified the rationale for war [in Iraq], and it's been a catastrophic failure, a continuing quagmire. In these circumstances, she should not be promoted to secretary of state," states Senator Kennedy

Wow...I'm sorry Senator, who voted on the use of force in Iraq? I can tell you this much it wasn't Miss Rice. You did Senator and not only that you looked at the same intel she did and came to the same conclusion for the rationale for the war or you and your gang wouldn't have voted on it. Iraq, a failure? Quagmire? A country that was taken over in one month from an evil dictator to now on the eve of their first elections. Talk about following a political agenda Senator. Either you voted on a political agenda or your doing so now...either way Senator your a treasonous drunk that has no place the United States Senate. And Senator Levin who cares what you have to say, what have you done lately co-sponsored a bill to kill more innocent children.

can you believe it? the former governor won't be running for president in 08 if he gets his dream job of head of DNC. what a relief, for a minute there i thought we were in for a tough election with dean on the ticket. think about all the votes he had in the last election. i don't think we as conservatives can handle another dean ticket, oh wait there wasn't one, he couldn't even get nominated by his own party....lol...hahahahahahhaha. sorry but him letting us know this was to good to pass up.

Dean noted, "I'm not a very Zen person, but I have recognized since the presidential election that actually the way to get power is to give it away, to give people power in their home states to do the things that have to be done and to trust people."

wow such wisdom mr. dean. what sneaky guy, and the whole time i thought they wanted to win the election. how on earth did we pass up this guy for president? howard dean as head of the DNC. a fitting a symbol of the democratic party...a bunch of shrilling lunatics!

Why did Kerry lose the race?

Questions like that make me laugh! If you ask the senator he would tell you, it was the bin laden video tape. Interesting. Maybe if you ask some of these guys in Florida it was the machines were rigged. Ask Bill Clinton and you will find that President Bush ran a better campaign.

I wish someone would ask me.....Because if you did I would say it was something different.

I would say that Senator Kerry was on the wrong side of issues. Let me explain. For the issue of the war on terror, he couldn't make up his mind what side he was going to stay on. Not a good trait for a guy holding the key to our nuclear weapons. Taxes, wants to roll back taxes...0-2. Gay Marriage, he said he didn't want to oppose his moral views on people. Abortion, same thing this time at the expense of innocent life. Gun Control, yeah I know he walked in the woods with a gun wearing camo, still doesn't change his record on gun control and how he loves it.

Time after time Senator Kerry has been on the wrong side of major issues. The ones listed above are only a few. With all these so called "political analyst", why can't it be that the senator was just wrong? Wrong on the issues and wrong for the job as President. Why can't it be just that simple, Senator Kerry was the Wrong Person, for the Wrong Job at the Wrong Time!

After all the name calling and questioning my intelligence where did those die hard liberals go? I know it can't be that I have changed my tune and become more sensitive to their feelings. Has the election taken the fight out of them or was there even a fight there to begin with? I have a feeling it is the latter. It is hard to defend a side like the left without any kind of ammuntion so to speak. The left touts how tough it is and compassionate but has yet to show either one to me. When confronted with opposition, they make personal attacks with nothing to back up their claims. Now, in all fairness I am a strong headed individual and it takes sometime to get me to come around but personal attacks only hinders that effort. I do love a good debate, one filled with facts and good humor. We have lost that in the political arena. I have seen the debates with President Ronald Reagan and saw the humor he brought to debates. What has caused people to throw out their humor and facts for just flat out "elementry school playground name calling"? I hope the liberals reading this will start leaving comments again and even conservatives that don't agree. Lets have some lively debate about serious issues with facts and some good ole fashion humor thrown in for good measure. Well as always keep it right and laugh a little today, its good for you!

I know you have all been wondering...Where did my conservative genius go? Well I have been up at deer camp being inspired by the beauty of these United States of America. I was up there from Sunday to Wednesday. What a blast that was. Even though I didn't bag a deer, I was happy enough just to be deer camp with my dad and Uncle Brian. All of us saw a deer. I never had a shot on the one I saw. Oh well the season isn't over and there is a buck ear just perfect for my tag. I will be on tomorrow defending freedom and liberty from the tyranny of the left.
